This will be an abbreviated
version of the weekly letter due to a more-full-than-usual
schedule and Donna and I taking two comp days Thursday and
Friday.
Please read and reprint the
attached documents for your congregation. If it is not
possible to print enough copies for bulletins or news
letters, please consider printing enough copies to post in
hallways, Sunday school classrooms, and main bulletin
boards. We are hearing more requests from your members to
know about opportunities for support and service projects in
the area. Thanks for helping us to be good stewards and
better communicators with your folk.

Yates, retired former pastor of Burlington Junction whose
funeral was Wednesday.

Kudos to Steve Thaler-pastor and
Frank Hall-retired pastor, Savannah FCC for that
congregation's use of the "Ready in 3" program for disaster
preparedness.
www.dhss.mo.gov/Ready_in_3 Over 50 of their youth and
adults have taken the 1 hour course and are now better able
to choose which to be during a time of disaster: someone
who can offer help or someone who requires help with simple
emergency provisions and precautions.
