NW Area Pastor for New Pastor Development
Position Description:
Scott is well known throughout the NW Area as the senior pastor of Wyatt Park Christian Church and popular instructor in Disciples History and the Spirituality of the Founders of the Restoration Movement. While he earned a Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary and helped to lead Wyatt Park into a time of significant transformation, he talks often about several congregation members who heard and responded to the call to ministry. Scott’s support of these individuals has taught him valuable lessons about what other congregational leaders could do to ensure that future pastors and other servant-leaders are effectively encouraged to accept their calling from Christ. Scott will also work with the NW Area Ministry Committee and Doyle Farmer to find more ways to serve and support new pastors serving in the area.
