We believe:
- Jesus of Nazareth is the Messiah promised in the texts of the First (aka "Old") Testament
- Jesus redeems us from our natural orientation toward self-centeredness and destruction and provides a way to live eternally (starting here and now) that honors God and all of Creation
- We are all called to work alongside Jesus to complete his mission of helping every person to receive God's love and to accept the offer of eternal life
- We enjoy no special status among Christians nor do we believe that there is only one correct way to receive, understand, and apply the teachings found in the Bible
- In celebrating communion each week and we welcome all followers of Jesus to take part in that special way of remembering Jesus regardless of denominational affiliation
